This movie is a frickin' thrill ride! I was literally shaking. Amazing cinematography and acting, UGH it's just so good! Of course, it's PG-13 and there's good reasoning for that, so maybe don't bring the kiddes. I loved how suspenseful and realistic it all was! Even though the trailer revealed a bit, it's still definitely one of my favorites.
One thing this movie does right is channeling how much society sucks. I know that sounds bad, but if you've seen the movie, you know what I'm talking about. That climax though. I honestly thought they weren't gonna paint humanity in such a negative light, but thank god they did. It really raises awareness for how we...in lack of a better term, suck.
Here's where I get a teeny bit spoiler-y. Just a warning.
So...Mike was totally a player, right? I thought they were gonna go into more detail about what happened to him, and no, I haven't read the book. I thought Mike would be the kid from Seattle, but that wouldn't really make sense. My theory is that he was a player based on how Vee described him as the guy who "never said no." But let me know what you think! Or if they went into more detail in the book, tell me that!
Spoilers stop here.
I adored this movie. It's one of my favorites, hands down. Ignore the Rotten Tomatoes score, 56% is not fair. I think it deserves at least 86%. And that's generous because I usually hate stories about millennials. GO SEE IT!!!!

Hi?
Woah.
Okay, I'm not sure if anyone is actually gonna read this, but I was feeling nostalgic this morning and decided to take a trip down memory lane to see what was going on with DeviantArt. First off, I know I just kinda ghosted the sight a few years ago. I'm completely fine -- sorry if anyone was concerned. I guess I just kinda slowly lost interest? The roleplay groups that were keeping me here were falling apart so I had no real reason to stay.
I've noticed Caro Prep is gone. Kinda wish I was around for the end to see what happened but I hope everyone involved is doing well. That group really meant a lot to me in middle school so thanks
